历史沿革[edit]

1958年为太阳大队，1983年改为太阳乡，1987年改为太阳管理区。到1999年，村委会由东源县政府批准设立，名称沿用至今[1][2]。

文化[edit]

2019年10月，太阳村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

「河源县人民政府旧址」位于本村昌隆屋，该屋为客家方围屋，建于清同治二年，全屋占地约1300平方米[3]。
