铁坑村位于东源县船塘镇，村名来自村子周围的铁子坑，铁子坑又称铁坑[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

铁坑村先为铁坑大队（1958年），后改为铁坑乡（1983年）、铁坑管理区（1987年）。1999年，东源县政府同意设立铁坑村民委员会[1]。

文化[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予铁坑村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号[1]。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
