船塘镇位于广东省河源市东源县北部山区，东邻和平县，北与和平、连平两县交界，镇政府驻船塘圩。全镇辖3个社区和21个行政村[1][2]，邮政编码517547[9]。镇域以农业为主，板栗是重要的特色产业，2025年入选「广东省“百千万工程”第二批专业镇」[3]。境内有「中共九连工委扩大会议旧址」、「河西革命烈士纪念公园」等革命史迹[5]。

历史沿革[edit]

1874年（清同治十三年），此地属河源县永顺都许村约[4]。1940年（民国二十九年），此地改属第二区，当地称船塘乡[4]。1948年5月，当地设立河西区行政委员会，此地成为河源县的游击根据地之一[4]。1949年6月，船塘乡改属河源县人民政府第一区[4]。

1958年设立船塘人民公社；1978年，原公社拆分出船塘、三河、黄沙3个公社。1983年撤销公社，改设船塘区。1987年起称船塘镇，1988年划入河源市郊区，1993年归属东源县[4][6]。1994年1月，黄沙、三河两乡改为镇；2003年7月，三河镇和黄沙镇并入船塘镇[6]。

地理环境[edit]

据博雅地名网，镇名的来历是：镇址四周高山环绕，地处椭圆形的盆地，圩旁过去还有一口大塘，形状如船，因而得名船塘[3]。镇域多山，山地面积约17.6万亩[8]。三河村一带位于船塘河、漳溪河、公白河三河的汇合处，三河之名由此而来[10]。

2010年前后，镇政府驻船塘圩，距县城70公里[7]。

人口与经济[edit]

2019年末，船塘镇户籍人口71384人[1]。河源市政府网站2010年的数字为17328户、66614人[7]，两个年份的数字不同，此处以较晚的为准。

农民人均可支配收入10900元，农业总产值28854万元，均为2017年数字[1]。2010年前后，全镇板栗基地约5300公顷，黄沙梨是当地的土特产[7]。2017年，船塘镇因板栗产业被认定为第七批全国一村一品示范村镇[3]。2023年，船塘镇被认定为省级城乡融合发展试点镇、全省休闲农业与乡村旅游示范镇和农业优势特色产业专业镇[8]。

名胜古迹[edit]

「中共九连工委扩大会议旧址」在流石村白竹坑一带。1948年6月，中共九连工委在此召开会议，会议将中共九连地方工作委员会改组为中共九连地方委员会，决定统一整编九连地区的武装部队，并组建广东人民解放军粤赣边支队[11]。

「东江华侨回乡抗日服务团船塘老围活动旧址」在老围村。1939年4月，东江华侨回乡抗日服务团第五分团的一个活动小组驻进船塘老围，以焕文小学为住处，在船塘、三河、上莞等圩镇农村演出话剧、发动群众、开办夜校[12]。

「船塘老围保卫战遗址」同在老围村。1946年春，国民党军队一营进驻船塘开展“清乡”；同年农历除夕夜，敌军数百人围攻老围村，党员欧阳璞牺牲。1948年农历七月，国民党军一营兵力300多人再次围攻老围村，村中民兵和群众关闭四处村门、据守抵御，敌人攻不破村门[13]。

「东江公学旧址」在船塘小学。1949年3月，中共九连地委在船塘创办东江公学，培养革命干部，同月7日开学。同年内学校先后迁往老隆、龙川、惠州，1950年2月迁至河源县城[14]。

「萝溪书院遗址」建于清道光十年（1830年），为河源市文物保护单位。辛亥革命时期，书院创办人欧裕才的两个儿子欧阳俊、欧阳伟曾追随孙中山从事革命活动[15][19]。据博雅地名网，遗址的位置有两种写法，一作老围村西，一作老围赤岭村[15][19]。

「流洞小学」中共河西县委旧址在三河流洞文明小学。1941年9月，船塘区委撤销，河西县委成立，机关设在该校，下辖上莞、三河、畲寮、新寨、老围5个区[16]。

「河西革命历史展览馆」位于船塘圩镇，在河西革命烈士陵园内，2010年夏建成，分3个展室，展示1939年至1949年河西人民在党领导下的抗日与解放斗争[17]。「河西革命烈士纪念公园」位于畲寮岗山顶，建于1959年，纪念在解放战争中于船塘一带牺牲的欧阳朋、谢映光等44位烈士[18]，2006年11月，河源市委、市政府将其公布为爱国主义教育基地[18]。
