新光村是广东省河源市东源县灯塔镇下辖的行政村，为村庄类城乡分类。村民多为水库移民，建村较晚，房屋较新，村名因此取“新光”。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为新光大队，1983年设新光乡，1987年改为新光管理区，1999年县里批准成立村委会，此后未再变更。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新光村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年创建单位名单。[1]
