地名由来[edit]
村子在镇的南端，周围是高山，村中有一条溪水穿过，两侧田地平整，地形呈椭圆，像一个大围龙，因而得名。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年为下围大队，1983年设下围乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年县里批准成立村委会。[2]
