下车镇是广东省河源市和平县下辖的镇，位于县境东北部，北面与江西省定南县毗邻，东面与龙川县细坳镇相接，距和平县城约40千米。镇政府驻下车镇街镇。全镇辖11个行政村和1个社区。[1][2]

镇内以农业为主，水果种植是农民增收的主要途径，猕猴桃是重点发展的特色产业。境内文物较多，徐傅霖故居为省级文物保护单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地隶属广三图，名为张坑。民国时期设下车乡；20世纪50年代初，这里成为第三区（下车区）。1958年划归利东公社，1960年另设下车公社；1986年起改称镇。[2][3]

关于镇名的来历，民间有几种传说：一说与古时过往官员在此下车有关；一说下车河两岸的村子各设水车，下村的水车称“下车”，此地因街市兴起而定名为下车。这些说法都带有传说色彩，书面记载中未见定论。[2]

地理环境[edit]

下车镇地处和平县东北部，下车河流经境内。江广桥横跨下车河，连接本镇与江西省定南县天九镇，历史上是通往两省的重要通道。[5]

维基百科称，区内出产木材、香菇、木耳、油茶和毛竹，景点有雪山嶂。[4]

人口[edit]

县政府网站称，全镇总人口约2.35万人。博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，记为约1.18万人，在和平县各镇（街道）中列第10位；维基百科载为2.1301万人。三处数字相差较大，分别注出处。[1][2][4]

经济[edit]

镇经济以农业经营为主。以紫云峰农业综合开发有限公司为龙头的农业企业带动种植，全镇重点扶持猕猴桃这一特色产业，县政府网站称之为“一乡一品”。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

县政府网站称，全镇有不可移动文物55处，其中新石器时代遗址5处，明代古建筑7处，清代古建筑38处，近现代重要史迹5处。县政府网站称，兴隆古村落在广东省第三批古村落之列。[1]

徐傅霖故居浰东小筑位于石含村，始建于1912年，1921年建成，共48间房屋，为四角楼式的客家古建筑。2012年起属省级文物保护单位之列。[6]

进士牌坊位于兴隆管理区中心围屋，立于1742年，是为进士徐廷芳所立，1986年由和平县人民政府公布为文物保护单位。[7]

江广桥位于镇山村，是清代古桥，又称五眼桥，2019年4月被公布为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[5]

中共石含支部旧址位于石含村育成小学，1939年冬成立中共石含支部。石龙寨风景区位于石含村，与江西定南县交界。[10]

著名人物[edit]

  • 徐廷芳，清乾隆七年（1742年）进士，兴隆人。其孙徐延泰于乾隆三十一年中进士，其曾孙徐旭曾于嘉庆四年中进士，时称“一门三进士”。[4][7]
  • 徐傅霖（1878年—1958年），字梦岩，石含人。清末为邑廪生，1905年加入同盟会，此前曾留学日本早稻田大学。民国后任国会议员、广东省高等审判厅厅长等职，1950年赴台湾。[8]
  • 徐炳荣（1907年—1956年），字光甫，北平大学毕业。他先在乐昌县担任税务局长，后任和平县县长，并任浰东中学校长。[2]
  • 周宝时（1917年—1941年），石含村人。1941年牺牲于翁源县官渡，牺牲前为和平县县委书记。[9]
