溪西村是广东省河源市连平县溪山镇下辖的行政村，城乡分类为村庄，在连平河的西岸。村名与东边的东水村相对而得。[1]

名称由来[edit]

本村所在一段连平河，在流入新丰江的中下游。以河为界，东岸为东水村，西岸就是溪西村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，村域先划为小区，溪东一带划归惠阳地区管辖。1955年至1956年间，溪东先后组成初级社、高级社。1958年，溪东的一部分归隆街人民公社，分出溪西大队；1968年改设溪西管理委员会。1976年起溪西大队属溪山公社，成立革命委员会；1984年改为村委员会。1987年设溪西管理区，作为镇政府的派出机构；1999年管理区撤销，设立溪西村民委员会。[1][2]
