地名由来[edit]
村子四周地势成盆状，三条山涧小溪在此汇流，积成一口大水塘。村名取“塘”“兴”二字，寄意兴旺。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
国民政府时期隶属塘陂乡；1958年划入蓝塘营；1962年改设塘兴大队；1983年为塘兴乡辖地；1987年设管理区；1999年以后由塘兴村委会管理。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，塘兴村获得「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
