三洞村是上坪镇的一个行政村，与新镇村、下洞村、石陂村等相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村内有留洞、曹洞、谢洞三处聚居点。留洞多谢氏，曹洞多邱氏，谢洞以谢氏、张氏为主，村名由三个洞而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初这里设三洞乡，1955年冬改为三个初级社。1958年，曹洞与谢洞合为一个高级社；上洞、下洞、下格并为一个高级社，此后归三一大队；曹洞与谢洞则归三二大队。1998年，三一、三二两个大队合并，定名三洞村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，村庄列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（茶叶）；2024年3月，获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
