地名[edit]

据博雅地名网，从下坝角向北望去，一条小河蜿蜒如一道弯曲的小径；「泮」与「半」音近，村名遂取作半径。[1]

沿革[edit]

1952年，这里设半径乡，所辖包括今日的半径与黄花两地；1962年单独成立半径大队；1984年恢复为半径乡，依旧辖两地；1987年改设村委会；1989年变成管理区；1999年再设村委会。[1]

荣誉与规划[edit]

2020年8月，半径村因茶叶产业入选省级「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，名列省农业农村厅首次公布的名单。2019年10月，半径村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]

规划把半径村定为中心村，与小参村、贵湖村同列；镇村体系的其余村庄则多为一般村。[2]
