历史沿革[edit]

1958年，大塘面并入联中大队；1983年又并入联中乡，中间的1977年曾分出大塘大队。1986年设为村委会，1989年从联中分出，改为管理区。[1]

经济[edit]

2021年9月，大塘面村的油茶入选广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

大塘面村被收入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间为2019年9月。[1]
