罗南村在廻龙镇内，与大塘肚村、岐岭村、群光村相邻，是镇内的一个行政村。村名与最早的罗姓居民有关，其祖屋朝向为坐南面北。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，罗南村几经分合：先称罗南村，1952年划入罗口乡；1957年归廻龙管理区；1958年改为大队，并入罗回大队。1983年从罗回析出，1984年又并入罗口乡，定名罗南村。1987年为村委会，1999年再设村委会。[1]

经济与扶贫[edit]

2019年，罗南村与罗回村同为镇内的省定贫困村，两村的村级污水处理站点当年仍在施工。[2][3]

2021年9月，罗南村以优质稻入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，罗南村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
