罗中村在廻龙镇中部，与罗西村、罗丰村、岐岭村相邻。村名的来历是：最早在此落脚的罗姓人家，祖屋正处于村子中央。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期即有罗中村之称。1951年并入罗口乡政府，其后数年内先后隶属廻龙管理区与大队，1983年才另设罗中乡政府。[1]

1987年改为村委会，1989年设罗中管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]

基础设施[edit]

2019年，镇政府报告称，罗中、岐岭等8个村的公厕建设已完成，余下6个村计划在年底竣工。[2]

2020年，镇里计划完成罗中村生态美丽宜居乡村示范村的建设。[3]
