名称来历[edit]

村原名石头湖。解放初期设立桥头乡，划分村片时，有人觉得“石头湖”的名字不雅，于是改名龙湖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村原属桥头大队，1958年从中分出，另设龙湖大队；1983年大队撤销、改为乡建制，1986年成为村委会，1989年改称管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

龙湖村依托石头湖康养民宿小镇项目，发展康养民宿。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村被评为2023年度广东省卫生村。[1]
