名称来历[edit]

村位于铁场镇东部，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年建铁东村，此后先改为铁东管理区，次年又成铁东大队；1983年改设铁东乡，1986年设村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
