珊田村是铁场镇下辖的行政村，2026年公告的国土空间规划将其列为一般村，是环霍山示范带上的五个村之一。[1][2][3]

名称来历[edit]

早先耕地稀少，村民只能在荒地上开垦，把山坡开成田，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

起初称珊田村，其后先后成为管理区与大队；1983年改设珊田乡，1986年改为村委会，1989年再改管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

环霍山示范带建设中，珊田村的定位是农旅融合，计划建设蔬菜与油茶两类基地，并发展观光旅游。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村入选2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1] 2024年3月，村被评为2023年度广东省卫生村。[1]
