椒坑村是紫金县瓦溪镇的行政村，据说当地盛产芭蕉，「蕉」「椒」同音，故称椒坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

椒坑在1958年称椒坑大队，隶属九和公社，1961年改隶新分立的九树公社。以后依次是乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年复设村委会，2003年起由瓦溪镇管理。[1]

椒坑是瓦溪镇2023年重点建设的4个美丽宜居村之一，项目含亮化、小广场、环境整治和文物遗产保护等。[2]
