洪田村是紫金县瓦溪镇的行政村，辖境内的南母寺始建于南宋，村里以茶叶入选省级「一村一品」专业村。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网说，这里地势低洼，常有洪水淹田，故名洪田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年建公社时，洪田属椒坑大队，归九和公社；1961年分设九树公社，洪田从椒坑大队分出，单设大队。1983年起为洪田乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年又改称村委会，2003年划入瓦溪镇。[1]

经济[edit]

洪田村以茶叶产业，列入广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

南母寺位于洪田村椒坑，古称庙祖石，《紫金年鉴》记其创建于南宋淳熙五年（1178年），距今八百余年。寺依一块巨大花岗岩而建，海拔约800米，整座是个天然大岩洞，供观音像，两侧柱上挂着清光绪年间的漆金木联；庙边石碑则记着1887年（光绪十三年）重建一事。[2][3]

由寺前广场登上庙堂，要走432级石阶。四周是五千多亩常绿阔叶的古树林；寺边有种黄土，旧称「黄金散」，传说能治病。[2]

2024年，镇政府把洪田村南母寺森林公园列入在建的休闲旅游项目。[4]

荣誉[edit]

洪田村在2024年3月获命名，成为2023年度广东省卫生村。[1]
