瓦溪村在紫金县瓦溪镇，村名来自瓦溪圩，1987年起设村委会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清两代，瓦溪村一带分别隶属古名都的上黄砂社、上黄砂约；民国时是一区上黄砂乡的辖地。新中国成立后的1950年，这里单立瓦溪乡。公社化的1958年，它叫合河大队，隶属九和公社，三年后瓦溪公社成立，才改称瓦溪大队。[1]

此后依次为乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年撤管理区、复设村委会，一直沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

省爱卫会在2023年5月评出2022年度广东省卫生村，瓦溪村获此称号。[1]
