围澳村是紫金县瓦溪镇所辖的行政村，村名与上濑村有关：它在上濑村东面，与上濑相对，故称围澳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年建人民公社，围澳设为一个大队，隶属九和公社；1961年起归新设的瓦溪公社。1983年改乡，1987年称村委会，1989年又作管理区，1999年撤去管理区、重设村委会，延续至今。[1]

2019年10月，围澳村入选当年的广东省卫生村名录。[1]

乡村建设[edit]

围澳村是瓦溪镇2023年建设的4个美丽宜居村之一，同批的还有上东、红光、椒坑。[2] 围澳电站则是1994至1998年间镇里新建的两座小水电站之一。[3]
