塘排村属临江镇。一口长方形的大水塘、塘边朝南的一长排屋，是村名的来历。[1] 国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布第二批国家森林乡村，塘排村在名单上。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年5月，塘排设乡，属第十区。1958年10月公社化，改为塘排生产大队，归柏埔公社；临江公社1961年4月成立，大队转了过去。八十年代起，1983年改称乡，1987年改称村委会，1989年一度叫管理区，1999年重新成立村委会，沿用至今。[1]
