坪輋村是紫金县义容镇的行政村，因有大片平坦的輋地得名，“輋”字当地另有读法，2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，这里有一大块平坦的輋地，故叫坪輋；“輋”字当地习惯的读音与普通话不同。[1]1958年设坪輋大队，属义容人民公社；1983年改称坪輋乡，1987年为坪輋村委会，1989年转为管理区，管理区到1999年撤销，村委会随后恢复。[1]

2024年3月，坪輋村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
