桥田村是紫金县义容镇的行政村，原为升平大队，2021年1月获河源市文明委授予「2020年度河源市文明村」。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，因安全水从升平村中穿过，水土流失使河道外移，冲毁了水田，村民为护田造桥、砌护墙，村名由此而来。[1]1958年称升平大队，隶属义容人民公社；1983年撤社设区，改称桥田乡；1987年设桥田村委会，1989年转为管理区，管理区到1999年撤销，村委会随后恢复。[1]
2019年9月，桥田村入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年1月，被河源市文明委授予「2020年度河源市文明村」。[1]
