光辉村在紫金县上义镇，是镇辖行政村之一。村名由旧时的官田、光丰、光星三村合并而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里旧称官田、光丰、光星，三村合一后另添一个「辉」字，成了现名。[1]

公社化时期，本地先随好义公社，称官田大队；1961年转入上义公社，官田、光丰、光星各为一个大队；1963年又回好义公社；1973年再入上义公社。此后的名称依次为光辉乡（1983年，属上义区）、光辉村委会（1987年）、光辉管理区（1989年）；1999年重新设立光辉村委会，现仍如此。[1]

光辉村以茶叶入选2021年9月公布的广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村名见于2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

文化[edit]

上义镇名相传出自本村岭头围的关帝庙楹联。[1]
