上义社区是紫金县上义镇政府驻地所在的社区，属镇中心区，由老圩及周边部分生产小组组成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1973年上义公社成立时，老圩上的居民直接归公社管辖。1986年设上义镇居民委员会，范围包括老圩，另从上义、光辉两个管理区各拨入若干生产小组。2008年更名为上义社区居民委员会，至今未变。[1]
社区名随镇名，据说源于光辉村岭头围关帝庙楹联「上扶汉室，义结桃园」。[1]
