双罗村是九和镇的行政村，原名双螺，因村里有两个形似田螺的田墩而得名；1949年后因「螺」「罗」谐音，改写作双罗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时，今村域的双螺、浊水两村属古名都下黄沙社（约）；双螺、浊水两村民国时在下黄砂乡，1947年改属黄砂乡。1952年设双罗乡，隶第五区（九和）；公社化后成为双罗大队。后来的名称依次是九和区双罗乡（1983年）、双罗村委会（1987年）、双罗管理区（1989年）、双罗村委会（1999年再设）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，双罗村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
