历史沿革[edit]

明清时属古名都下黄沙约（社）辖地，民国归下黄砂乡。1958年为九和公社九和大队，1983年称九和区九和乡。1987年改属九和镇九和村，同年把九和墟另立为居委会；1989年成管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，九和村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

九和人民英雄纪念碑建于2005年，坐西北朝东南，为纪念建国前后牺牲的九和籍烈士而建。碑通高8米，分基座、碑身、碑顶三段，基座高2米，正面嵌大理石碑记，碑身正面刻「人民英雄永垂不朽」。[2]
