高埔村在埔前镇北边，与源南镇白田村和河源高新区相邻，总面积约15平方公里，其中10平方公里已被高新区征用；下辖7个村民小组，900户4520人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年为高埔乡，1958年编作大队，1987年建村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年区撤，村委会延续至今。[3]

村情[edit]

7个小组中基建、大坑、联和、黄沙、下塘5个是移民小组，移民约占人口的59%。耕地3500亩，水田与旱地分别为1200亩、2300亩。村集体年收入约50万元，以市场出租的租金为主。高埔小学有师生1345人。2019年9月，该村列入2018年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位。[1][2]
