埔前村环绕埔前圩镇，四邻为东面南陂村、南面莲塘岭村、西面坪围村、北面河背村，分4个片区，名为银轭龙、瓦片雪、下罗和玉胜。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

它是离镇政府最近的村，村委会又设在埔前大街内，所以叫埔前。[3]1949年是埔前乡，1958年改为大队，1987年建村委会，1990年为管理区，1998年区撤，村委会延续至今。[2]
