黄子洞村属河源市源城区源西街道，沿万绿大道、紧邻市区西侧，村委会在新港一路2号。相传最早在此居住的是黄姓人，地方古称黄祖洞，后写作黄子洞。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

黄子洞乡成立于1949年；1958年公社化后改称大队；1987年起设村民委员会，1990年改为管理区，到1998年撤管理区、复设村委会，延续至今。[1]
