城南社区是河源市源城区新江街道辖下的社区，居委会设在学生路，辖区位于河源老城区南部。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

居委会1995年设立，1997年划归新江街道管辖，此后一直如此。名称取自它在老城区南面的位置。[1]

辖区与人口[edit]

辖区东到玫瑰路，南到大岭背路，西到河源大道南，北到河紫路，面积约0.6平方千米。据博雅地名网所载，社区有1386户、常住人口5246人，分7个居民小组，社区的综合服务楼有550平方米，里面设党员群众服务中心等站点。[1]
