溪美村是陆丰市潭西镇东侧的行政村，距镇政府2千米，有4个自然村，据博雅地名网总人口2860人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子形成于清乾隆年间：村民平整土地，原本分散的住户逐渐聚到一起。[1]
最初在1949年设溪尾村；并入深溪大队、划归潭西公社是1961年的事。再往后，1980年5月起，潭东大队的新开溪村与深溪大队划出的溪美割、上路头、大堆合并，成立新美大队；到1997年10月，大堆、上路头各自成为管理区，溪美村自立，1999年定名溪美村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民种红薯、水稻，兼做淡水养殖和家畜饲养。[1]
