高树坪村在东坑镇东部的山区，村域13.24平方千米，仅63户374人。[1] 村内尖山顶上有尖山寺，一带是东北大队的旧驻地。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1958年是陆丰县水东公社的一个果林坊，1973年到1988年称与化果林坊，其后到1998年设高树坪管理区，次年定为高树坪村民委员会。[1] 1974年设东坑公社时，高树坪林场是划入的单位之一。[3]

经济[edit]

粮食作物以水稻为主，经济作物有青梅、青柿；水果种植2500余亩，并建有青梅腌制池做初加工，2009年人均纯收入4592元。[1]

尖山寺与荣誉[edit]

尖山寺建于海拔500多米的尖山顶，1906年始建，占地约3000平方米；当年海陆丰人民自卫队的东北大队驻在这里，山上现有纪念亭、纪念碑与英烈亭，汕尾市在2005年把它定为爱国主义教育的基地。[2][3] 此外，2019年9月它进入省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单，2020年12月被省爱卫会授予卫生村称号。[1]
