横陇村在陆河县新田镇西南端，总面积7.3平方千米，辖上下布、寮前、埔尾、新屋、早禾垅、显屯、柴陇、松林8个自然村。[1]

基本情况[edit]

村情页载，全村耕地3000多亩、林地8361亩，603户，总人口4030余人，常住3500余人。[1] 村民借助镇内的生宝种养公司，种植荔枝、龙眼和水果型木瓜，近年还修建了村头标识、公厕和卫生站，拆除危旧砖瓦房80余间。[1]

历史沿革与荣誉[edit]

新中国成立后设横陇乡，1958年起为大队，至1983年止；1986年称村委会，1999年改称村民委员会。[2] 2019年9月，横陇村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2020年8月，以百香果列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[2]
