陂坑村在陆河县新田镇西北边，与本县上护镇接壤，辖陂坑、高排、珠湖、楼背、寨仔、坪径6个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，明万历年间（1573—1620年）黄姓迁来建居，后迁出，改由丘、叶两姓居住。[2] 公社化时期原属田心大队，1968年分出，以片村名「陂坑」为大队名；1986年称陂坑村委会，1999年起称陂坑村民委员会。[2]
基本情况[edit]
村里耕地只有400多亩，山地6000多亩，零星种有菠萝、青梅、香蕉、柑橘、火龙果等；村民多已迁到新田圩居住，或外出务工经商。[1] 镇政府称之为「山多、地少、偏远」的村，现有150多户、900多人。[1] 博雅地名网的较早介绍则说这是县重点扶贫工作村，人口780人，种有速生桉3000多亩。[2]
