新中国成立之初是陂坑乡；1958年改作陂坑大队，1983年又称陂坑乡政府，1989年成了管理区，直到1999年才定名为陂坑村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，陂坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
