北二村在河口镇东北部，位于北溪河下游，下设6个村民小组，人口三千多人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

北二本是北中管理区下的小乡，1955年组成初级社，次年改高级社时划入北中社；1962年起单独设大队。1984年3月起，大队体制取消，改由乡政府管理；此后依次称村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）、村民委员会（1999年），沿用至今。[2]

经济[edit]

村民主要种荔枝、龙眼和芒果。近年村里鼓励在外乡贤和村民投资种养项目，推行「企业+农户」的做法，同时输出富余劳动力。[1]
