宝山村在陆河县城东北，北邻火山嶂，南靠县城，西接河北村，东邻河东村。[2] 村内有两处文物保护单位：桐树下自然村的九厅十八井古民居群，以及青龙背自然村的蟠龙祠。[3][4]

地理与人口[edit]

村域5.4平方千米，林地5791.5亩，全部是生态公益林，耕地1148亩；辖石坑尾、江子头、桐树下、石坑寨、青龙背、墩下6个自然村；户籍399户3235人，常住8347人。[2] 2021年12月，宝山村获广东省爱卫会授予“2021年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

九厅十八井位于桐树下自然村，据县政府的文物介绍于清道光五年（1825年）动工，是一组府第式古建筑，朝向坐北朝南，为汕尾市级文物保护单位。[3] 河田镇政府的介绍说它是该村彭氏十四世祖腾辉公所建，因有9个大厅和18口天井得名，工期长达二十多年；房屋间互相打通，围墙上设枪眼，用于防卫。[5] 博雅地名网记占地2万平方米，建筑面积8000平方米，共9栋。[1] 据镇政府介绍，现今只有中间的大房大厅保存较完整，已修作桐树下村的彭氏祠堂。[5]

蟠龙祠在青龙背自然村，建于1923年，2009年重修；面阔19.3米，进深19.6米，建筑占地378平方米，格局为“上五下五”。[4] 县政府的文物介绍说，祠里设过粤赣湘边纵队东江第一支队政治部的指挥中心，也是该支队机关报《大众报》的社址，并且是“新陆券”“河田流通券”的印制处。[4] 2022年3月，蟠龙祠（作为东一支教导队青干班《大众报》旧址）被汕尾市人民政府列入第三批文物保护单位。[1]
