溪东村在陆河县河田镇南部，由上街、上楼、老屋下3个自然村组成；原S335省道，现已改造升级为G235国道，从村边通过，南接上护镇的潮惠高速陆河南收费站。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

溪东最初只是河田公社硁头大队下的一个片村，1974年河田、上护两地分社后另成一方。1984年3月，乡政府取代生产大队；随后依次为村委会（1986年）、管理区（1990年）和村民委员会（1999年）。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村里林地3562.5亩（含生态公益林1121.25亩），耕地372亩；户籍225户（1250人），常住约1000人。[2] 辖区面积，村情介绍写作3.6平方千米，基本概况页则作5.6平方千米。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月入选「广东省卫生村」名录；2019年9月名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
