大嶂村是汕尾市海丰县城东镇东北部的行政村，在海拔389米的大嶂山下，居民以庄姓为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明末清初，庄姓先祖从海丰坊廓都（今陆丰市潭西镇）长安白银坑村迁来，在大嶂山下建村，因山得名。[1] 博雅地名网则记为明弘治年间迁入。[2] 明清至民国属石塘都罗山约；1949年11月属第二区（公平）嶂山乡；1962年立大嶂生产大队，属陈厝陂公社；此后划入可塘公社，到1974年12月转归城东公社。[1]
概况[edit]
村由平岭、大嶂、新寮3个自然村组成，庄姓占85%，七普常住人口100多人。农业过去主要种稻，现多改种番薯并加工粉丝、薯粉；有养殖场。村里有清代观音庙和日军侵华时留下的防空洞。[1]
文化[edit]
1920年代彭湃在大嶂山村组织农会；抗日战争时期东江纵队在此开展游击战，新寮村民打死日兵1名、汉奸2名；解放战争时期村内清德堂、观音寺是地下党落脚处，庄妈连、庄炳恩等9人牺牲。[1][3]
荣誉方面：柑橘专业村（2020年8月，省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」）；2023年度广东省卫生村（2024年3月命名）；省第二批「百千万工程」典型村（2026年1月）。[2]
