汀洲村是汕尾市海丰县城东镇的行政村，西临黄江，南到国道324线，传说南宋末年宋军与元兵曾在村前的赤岸溪交战。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称汀洲村立于南宋景炎年间。汀洲原属汀后乡（汀后大队），1962年4月由汀后大队分出3个自然村，另立汀洲大队；1974年随城东公社设立而划入，1998年复为村委会。[2]
村材料讲：宋端宗兵败南迁，元兵追至赤岸溪，推官承务郎卢参部将战败阵亡，村民收殓遗体并在溪东建墓亭；该亭1959年被拆，1989年由乡人和港澳同胞捐资重建，2005年因建工业园迁到石亭山。[1]
文化[edit]
村内有汀洲、塘东、塘西、埔美4个自然村，七普常住人口2000多人；芝麻是特色农产品，镇政府在村内征地建了敏兴、纬兴等毛织厂。[1] 春节各自然村演大戏、舞狮，端午赛龙舟，舞狮班参加者约150人。2005年村民创办汀洲文明基金会。村内有民国初年传入的汀洲天主堂。[1]
2021年12月汀洲村获广东省卫生村称号。[2]
