名园村是汕尾市海丰县城东镇的一个行政村，在龙津河东岸，镇里人口最多的村委会，被博雅地名网称为城东镇的中心村。[1]

村域约5.5平方公里，分20个村民小组，总人口1.2万多，西边是龙津河，北边接将军山余脉；广汕公路、县城二环北路和公平公路都经过村内。以种稻、番薯、蔬菜为主，多数劳力务工经商。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期，这里是名东乡的一部分，先后隶属一区和城关区；人民公社化后成了海城公社的名东大队，1974年转入新设的城东公社。其后的名园乡、名园村委会、名园管理区几次易名，1998年起定为村委会。[1]
2020年12月，名园村获广东省爱卫会授予的广东省卫生村称号；2020至2022年三届淘宝村名单中都有名园村。[1]
著名人物[edit]
海陆丰革命早期的领导人之一林道文是名园村人，一家有林道文、林海秋、林乃火、林养四位烈士；村内北桥边的永福宫、大榕树和北帝宫曾是农民运动的集会地点。[2]
