兴洲村是海丰县附城镇西部的行政村，与联安镇隔河相望，由兴洲、联塘、潭头李3个自然村组成，1985年在联兴大队基础上设管理区，1999年成立村委会。[1]

人口与姓氏[edit]

户籍565户2897人，常住545人，有梁、张、陈、黄、王等14个姓氏。三村都在明朝初期由外地迁入。[1]

村名由来[edit]

兴洲村由梁姓西巴公与张姓寅洲公在明初迁入，最初叫巴洲村，清末由地方官员赐名兴洲。联塘原名邬厝塘，因邬姓先居而得名，邬姓迁走后由叶、陈两姓居住，中华人民共和国成立后改今名。潭头李因李姓迁入时村前有水潭而得名。[1]

近年村里集资修了水泥路约2000米和村内巷道2000米。[1]
