联西村在海丰县城西南，属附城镇，辖莲吴、叶厝、南岭、小路坡、新乡、刘厝、张厝、后笏、峰山、山岗、黄厝11个自然村，村委会驻新乡村。因位于县城西面而得名。[1]
沿革与人口[edit]
1978年人民公社时期称联西大队，1984年分设联西乡，1987年改村委，1989年改管区办事处，1998年定为联西村民委员会。户籍人口6102人（1145户），常住约7167人，党员110名。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村背靠大云岭，邻青年水库，改革开放前是丘陵地。324国道、红城大道和广富路经过，吸引了汽车销售、运输、电子等百多家企业落户。[1]
传说[edit]
村委会后山坡有“孝女碑”，传说姓彭的女子割下大腿肉救活饥饿的父亲，人们立碑纪念，清明祭祖者常去凭吊。[1]
