道山村是海丰县附城镇的行政村，下辖道山、乌石叶、南英岭、北英岭、前厝、新厝、下寮7个自然村，村后的山上立有谢道山宝塔。[1]

概况[edit]

村委材料载，户籍643户3076人，常住514人，有耕地1600亩，另有鱼池210亩和咸水养殖面积250亩，以粮食为主要收入。1965年起村里用两年时间把东西两片1600多亩耕地平整成规格化的农田，每造亩产从180斤增至1000多斤。[1]

宝塔[edit]

宝塔为七层八角形，1940年前层层有木楼板，可从底层登到塔尖；1941至1949年楼板被白蚁蛀食；1962年4月塔尖葫芦被雷击落，1997年雷击又使塔身掉下两层高。[1] 另据百科，该塔始建于明崇祯二年（1629年），清康熙年间由知县姚德基建成，1997年公布为县级重点文物保护单位。[2]

教育与基建[edit]

原来小学借祠堂上课。1991年港澳同胞叶家炎等投资20万元，加上集资，建起三层15间课室的教学楼，总投资约80万元；2003年起用两年建成3层、600平方米的村委办公楼；2001至2005年修成长约3千米的水泥路。[1]
