仓兜村在梅陇镇区南面约2.5公里，面积约1.8平方千米，下辖仓兜、余厝、三层松3个自然村，2010年统计人口为2392人；村地处平原，盛产水稻，有「粮仓米兜」之称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，仓兜村始于明嘉靖年间。1950年归第三区，此后依次为仓兜乡（1952年）、仓兜大队（1958年）、仓兜乡（1984年），1987年起设村委会，1998年恢复村委会。[1]

荣誉与建设[edit]

2024年3月，仓兜村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2024年初，村里的高标准农田建设在推进之中。[1]
