联平村在梅陇镇区以南约4公里、广汕公路东侧，面积约2.9平方千米，2010年总人口约3939人，是镇里蔬菜的主要产地之一，盛产水稻、番薯、莲藕、茨菇；官方名单共列8个自然村，即后占、布围、桥雅头、黄厝寨、上墩美、上墩许、上墩陈、外寮。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年属海丰建政的第四区鲘门石南乡。联平大队成立于1958年，由附近三个大队各出几个自然村合成，共9个：桥雅头、外寮、黄厝寮、尚墩尾林、尚墩尾叶来自月池大队，布围来自仓刀大队，后占、上墩陈、上墩许来自梅联大队。1984年改联平乡，1987年为联平村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

联平村以莲藕入选广东省农业农村厅于2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
