地名由来[edit]
相传姓叶的人最早在此开荒垦田，村因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
叶田在1921年已是广福乡所辖的一村，1952年立乡，公社时期为叶田生产大队。1983年留畲大队并入，合成叶田乡；1987年随广福建镇改作村委会，90年代初曾称管理区，1999年复原。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，该村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」；2026年1月，又成为「百千万工程」典型村（第二批）。[1]
