村名由洪畲和育才两个村合并而来，各取一字，叫洪才。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为广福公社洪才生产大队；1983年改洪才乡；1987年起称洪才村委会，1990年改管理区，1999年复称村民委员会。[1]
