历史沿革[edit]
此地原叫南坑里，1950年改名广育村。1958年成了广福公社的广育生产大队；1983年与石松大队并为广育乡；1987年划归广福镇，称村委会；1990年改管理区，1999年又称村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种烤烟、水稻制种，并办有占地约500亩的富硒黑木耳产业园。2020年8月，广育村以黑木耳入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
荣誉按时间排：2019年9月、2020年12月，两度进入广东省民主法治示范村创建名单；2023年1月，司法部与民政部授予「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」（第九批）；2023年11月，成为全国乡村治理示范村（第三批）；2024年4月，进入广东省乡村振兴示范村创建名单（第一批）；2025年3月，获「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]百度百科还提到该村曾探索以宗祠调解室、村民理事会化解纠纷的做法。[2]
